This small bag of Foxglove flower seeds contains a very nice mixture, with fine color markings, of thimblewort. The flowers up to 5 cm in the long bunches are speckled on the inside. The wild form is native to us.
Foxglove tolerates quite a lot of shade. In the first year only a low-lasting leaf rosette is formed. The enormous flowering stem originates in the second year. They then remain a little smaller than in a light spot. When the plants are easy to handle after sowing, you can transplant them to the final place of destination at 35 x 35 cm.
The well-known Foxglove is a must in the wildgarden. However be careful, the plant is poisonous!
Sowing instructions
Mid summer in seedbed and plant out in late autumn.
