The marigold seed variety Granada, is an annual, compact growing, yellow marigold (Tagetes Patula) for planting in borders, beds and window boxes. The flower colour of ‘Granada’ is yellow with rusty-brown stripes. The flowering period is extended by regularly removing the faded flowers.
Characteristics:
Annual, bedding plant, attracts bees, bumblebees and butterflies, single flowering, compact, repels harmful insects such as nematodes, aphids and mosquitoes, edible, medicinal plant.
Sowing instructions
Sowing:
March and April under glass or in a greenhouse. From mid-May in the garden.
Transplant:
5-6 weeks after sowing, the plants can be transplanted.
Flowering period:
June to October.
