Petite varieties of marigold seeds are plants that grow very compactly and remain low (20 cm). This variety 'Petite Orange' (Tagetes Patula) blooms bright orange, with beautifully double flowers. Excellent plants for beds, borders and window boxes. Regular removal of the faded flowers extends the flowering period.
Characteristics:
Annual, bedding plant, attracts bees, bumblebees and butterflies, double flowering, compact, repels harmful insects such as nematodes, aphids and mosquitoes, edible, medicinal plant.
Sowing instructions
Sowing:
March and April under glass or in a greenhouse. From mid-May in the open ground. Transplant:
5-6 weeks after sowing, the plants can be transplanted.
Flowering period:
June to October.
