Gayfeather

The gayfeather is a beautiful plant that blooms for months, especially in autumn with bright red / pink brush-shaped flowers. These flowers give the plant its name "gayfeather". Bottles used to be cleaned with a similar brush, for example.

When the leaves are bruised, a lemon-like scent is released, hence the botanical name Citrinus. The leaf is gray/green in color.
