Organic Yellow mustard is a fast-growing annual plant. Very suitable as green manure. If the mustard is sown in the spring, it will produce small yellow flowers in the summer. Because the plant has a taproot, it can penetrate the soil quite deeply. As a green manure, it is best to sow in August-September.
Tip: To make digging in easier, you can first mow it. Mustard easily absorbs nitrogen and, after digging in, quickly releases it for the next crop. 1 package is sufficient for 100m2.
Sowing instructions
For seed production (to make mustard) sow in April, the harvest will be possible in September. Loosen the soil well before sowing. Planting distance 30 cm.
If sown for green manure, in March to August, mow the plants before they produce seed. When sown in September, the plant will not produce seed. Loosen the soil well before sowing.
Planting distance is 20cm at a depth of approximately 2cm. In winter, yellow mustard freezes to death.
