A crash course in shelling peas:

It's not a punishment by the way, but today's youth has no idea where to start with those green cases. Therefore, as part of the general education of mankind, here is a short manual.Read more

Step 1: Sit down with a cup of tea on a sunny balcony. Auxiliaries are of course welcome.

Step 2: Take a pile of shelled peas.

Step 3: Snip off the tip (where the stalk is) and, in one go, loosen the string along the whole side. Now you can unfold the pod and the peas will pop out like bouncing schoolchildren who are finally allowed to get off at the Efteling after an exhilarating bus journey.

Step 4: Continue steadily and before you know it, you have worked your way through the mountain.
