Sunflower Seeds

Sunflowers come in many shades and heights. They are very suitable as cut flowers and very decorative. The sunflower (Helianthus annuus) is an annual plant which can grow up to 3 metres high. The sunflower can be sown from April to mid-June.

Origin of the sunflowers

Sunflowers came originate from North and Central America and were appropriated more than 3000 years ago by the original inhabitants of those areas. Around 1530, the plant's "sunflower" was brought to Europe by Spaniards.
