Red beetroot grows in all types of soil, but in too dry soils the tubers may bulge. Later sown beets can be stored for a very long time in a cool, frost-free place.
The beetroot is a sweet beet, which can be eaten hot or cold. Beetroot with sour cream or prepared as a soup is a delicious variant.
Special sort leaf selection which produces tender dark red beetroots. Excellent storage variety for winter use.
Sowing instructions
From late spring until mid summer in rows in open ground.
